Working Holiday & 2019

I’m rolling into the new year with a wicked cold, and I am still optimistic about 2019.

I’m getting to a point in my 22 years of living where I want something different. Something that gives me a purpose. Obviously I have a ton in my life that already gives me a lot of purpose in life, but I crave something different. I need a change.

So that’s why I am going to do the best I can to end up on a working holiday in England this year, for a year. I’ve talked to some of my family and friends about it and nobody is screaming at me “don’t do it”, so I’m going to follow my heart and do it. This, other than self care, is probably my biggest goal so far of 2019. I have some time in between jobs to better myself and really start planning, and to of course get over this nasty cold. I’m sneezing as we speak.

With this blog, it gives me a great platform to share my adventures with you, and I intend to do so as much as I can. I really enjoy writing and travelling and living in another country is a great thing to write about.

Something that is a big obstacle with most things is money. Going away to England is through a program and not just figuring stuff out by myself so it definitely doable in a financial sense. But it doesn’t happen overnight. On top of that, I wanted to get an iPad Pro for my art, but I think that will take a backburner to travel at the moment, even though getting the iPad would be great for my artistic inspiration and career.

I just wanted to share with you where I am at in my life, and what my plans are for me and this blog. I’m sure I will have many great things to write about, so stay tuned. I really hope you are enjoying my posts so far and I look forward to a great year.

Thanks for reading.
